Food
See how processed your food really is.
AntiSlop reads the ingredient list for you: additives, E-numbers, sugar and processing. If the Norwegian Food Safety Authority has recalled it, that’s the first thing you see.

How it works
1
Point your camera at the barcode, or search for the product. Apps you look up by name.
2
You get a score from 0 to 100 and a verdict in plain words. Right below: what counts for and against it.
3
Find a healthier alternative in one tap, compare two products, or add it straight to your shopping list.
One app, three shelves
Food
AntiSlop reads the ingredient list for you: additives, E-numbers, sugar and processing. If the Norwegian Food Safety Authority has recalled it, that’s the first thing you see.
Skincare
Fragrance, allergens and substances the EU has assessed for possible endocrine-disrupting effects – explained in plain words.
Apps
What an app collects, who it shares it with, and whether it’s used for ads or AI training. From public sources – we never scan your phone.
Honest, not alarming
No scare words and no red alerts for everything. Just what’s on the label, and what it means.
Every finding shows where it comes from, and how fresh the information is.
If something is missing, we say so. What we couldn’t check never counts as good news.
Allergies and diet give you personal notes. The score itself is the same for everyone – and can’t be bought.
Example · Cereal
Steel-cut oats, 1 kg
Good choice
One ingredient, nothing added.
Example · Dairy
Strawberry yoghurt, 4 × 125 g
Mixed
Added sugar and two thickeners.
Example · Soft drink
Orange soda, 500 ml
Strong concerns
High in sugar, and a colour (E110) with an EU warning about children's attention.
Example · Seasoning
Spice mix, 40 g
Limited evidence
The ingredient list could not be read, so there is no score yet.
Not checked
Processing, additives and simplicity
The source has no ingredient list for this barcode.
Examples from the app's introduction. Real values come from the sources.
The score comes from published, versioned rules applied to what the maker declares. The same product and the same rule version always give the same score. No AI model calculates it.
For food, the rules look at four parts: processing, additives, nutrition and how simple the ingredient list is. Each finding shows how many points it moved, and whether it rests on regulation, a documented concern or AntiSlop’s own natural-first view.
If the evidence is too thin, the product gets no score – just Limited evidence and a list of what’s missing. You can photograph the ingredient list. The contribution is checked against the barcode and the rules before it can change a score – by a person whenever something is unclear.

No commitment. You can leave any time.
Scanning, scores and reasons are free for everyone, with no limit, and so is App check. New accounts get 7 days of everything. Premium adds better alternatives, compare, your household, planning and history. The price is shown in the App Store and Google Play.
From the label and open sources: Open Food Facts, Open Beauty Facts, Matvaretabellen, the EU’s CosIng ingredient database and the Norwegian Food Safety Authority’s recalls. For apps we use store privacy labels, the app’s own terms and Exodus Privacy. Every finding shows its source.
Then we say so. What’s missing is shown as a gap, and if the evidence is too thin, the product gets no score. You can photograph the ingredient list – the contribution is checked before it’s used, by a person whenever something is unclear.
No. There are no ads, no sponsored results and no paid placement. Every product is judged by the same rules.
No. AntiSlop tells you what’s in a product and why it may be worth knowing. Questions about your own health belong with your doctor.
As little as possible. The app has no advertising or third-party analytics tools (anonymous usage statistics only if you say yes), the barcode is read on your phone, and your account is stored in the EU. You can download or delete everything right from the app.
